This song is about dark times when we feel we are spiraling into oblivion and insanity, clawing at anything that might give us perspective or support. In times such as these, we can look to something solid and unchanging, like family, love, or good memories. In this way we can slow the spiral, find an anchor, catch a grip and return to friendly shores.

Although there aren't a whole lot of words sung, the music fills the lonely gaps and takes us on that journey from stability to the dark side, and back.
